Welcome
My parents and I just got back from Colombia where we met with Pastors of Tribal Generation Churches. When we left the hotel room my parents said we would be walking to the church. At first I complained because I didn't know how far we would have to walk. I was surprised that we were simply going to cross the street to the park. As we walked, I could hear loud music and could see people break dancing. The songs they were playing sounded like songs we sing at my church! I asked my parents what was happening and they said, "Here we are! Church!"
My Dad introduced me to the Pastor! The Pastor explained to me that Tribal Generation Churches are people who worship the Lord together in their own unique way. In this case he said, all these people were given by God the gift of dance so they were worshipping Him by dancing! The Pastor said that by having church in the middle of the park more people could hear about God! The whole time I was there they were dancing, singing, praying, sharing their testimonies, and dancing some more. At first the crowd gathered around them was small but before long it got bigger and bigger. After awhile the people started asking the dancers what they were doing. The Pastor started to give his testimony and afterward he prayed! The crowd continued to ask questions about God. It was awesome!
