Eastern Europe

Our long-term goal is to see a Saturation Church Planting process in all 168 NUTS of Europe, leading to 6,000 new simple/organic churches in every NUT (administrative areas of on average 4 million inhabitants).
Eastern Europe includes: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, (Kosovo), Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
The countries of Eastern Europe have an approximate population of 331 million people. Using data from the World Christian Database, if one assumes that a typical church in India or China has 150 members (actual church size may be much less, a number was chosen only to establish a basis of comparison), there is one Gospel-Oriented church for every 1766 people in China and one Gospel-Oriented church for every 2413 people in India. According to the European Spiritual Estimate, there is only one Gospel-Oriented church for every 27749 people in Europe! (The European Spiritual Estimate (ESE) is a survey accomplished by the European Missions Research Group (emRG)
Dawn Eastern Europe is involved in church planting in the capital cities and amongst the emerging generation.
