Eastern Europe

Most church buildings of Eastern Europe are large and ornate, but empty and cold. Our ministry purposes to multiply vital fellowships of Jesus followers impacting their nations with the Gospel.

Eastern Europe includes: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, (Kosovo), Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.

The countries of Eastern Europe have an approximate population of 331 million people. Using data from the World Christian Database, if one assumes that a typical church in India or China has 150 members (actual church size may be much less, a number was chosen only to establish a basis of comparison), there is one Gospel-Oriented church for every 1766 people in China and one Gospel-Oriented church for every 2413 people in India. According to the European Spiritual Estimate, there is only one Gospel-Oriented church for every 27749 people in Europe! (The European Spiritual Estimate (ESE) is a survey accomplished by the European Missions Research Group (emRG).

Dawn Eastern Europe is particularly focused on church planting strategies for whole nations, capital cities, and amongst the emerging generation.

From the President

January 20 was an historic moment not only for America but for the world as the Obama administration took office. Following the financial shake up that the west is going through, which has filtered to the rest of the world, everywhere you turn changes are inevitable. Most organizations, religious or secular, have had to make serious adjustments to face the challenges of the new year.
